From the 17th to the 22nd of September 2007 the EMO Hanover will once again be the meeting point for the greatest possible expertise of providers and users. With a focus on machining, fragmenting, erosive and shaping tool machines, production systems, precision tools, automated material flow, computer technology, industrial electronics and accessories, the entire spectrum of metal processing technology will be offered. The sales company Hankook Machine Tools mbH will be there at the EMO once again in Hall 26, Stand B41. This year we will focus on the vertical lathe series VTB/C, the lathe series PROTEC and Hanturn, as well as the new DYNATURN 2600 machine.

The international, Korean mechanical engineering trade fair takes place in Seoul for the thirteenth time in 2008. 500 exhibitors from 40 countries will present their new products at 3,500 stands during one of the largest mechanical engineering trade fairs in Asia. Of the estimated 100,000 visitors, approx. 6,000 guests from non-Asian countries are expected this year. This is thus the largest trade fair to date in the 23-year history of the SIMTOS. The focal points of the trade fair are metal processing and metal shaping machinery, robots, automation, processing centres and control/measuring instruments, as well as the corresponding accessories and auxiliary equipment.
The number of both exhibitors and visitors has grown continuously since 2002. The number of foreign exhibitors has more than doubled in this time period and the number of visitors from abroad has nearly tripled, which underlines the high international ranking of this trade fair.
Hankook Machine Tools will also once again exhibit its machinery programme at the SIMTOS in 2008. A look back at METAV 2006
A good mood at the METAV Dusseldorf 2006 due to high visitor quality and a high level of investment readiness

47,500 specialist visitors ensured a good mood at the METAV Dusseldorf this year. The summary of the 925 exhibitors from 21 countries was clear: the quality of visitors has improved, and the exhibitors were able to close more sales than expected.
93 percent of the exhibitors indicated a positive estimation of the high level of qualifications of the visitors in the exhibitor survey. According to the visitor survey, the majority of specialist visitors belonged to top or middle management. Just as many were possessed of decision-making capacity.
Around 10 percent of foreign visitors from a total of 33 countries visited the METAV Dusseldorf. Most specialist visitors came from Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Sweden and Switzerland. More than a fifth of visitors travelled from outside of Europe, including from distant countries like Japan, Russia and Egypt.

Two thirds of visitors were experts from industry, of these 40 percent from mechanical engineering and more than a quarter from the automotive and automotive supplier industry. New markets were also served.
As expected, many machine tool manufacture customers are once again in a mood to buy. According to a survey, 38 percent of visitors have concrete investment plans.
